James Wood letter, 1840.

This collection consists of a letter from James Wood to Isaac I. Cowl, in which Wood discusses mutual business interest in Dahlonega, the depressed condition of the mining business, and Wood's inability to sell Cowl's mines. References are made to agreements with the Sixes Mining Company and with the Bell Mines.
